  1. Select your exact model and finish. Different brands, models and colours can have different reference prices.

  2. Describe its condition honestly. Include any visible wear, damage, missing parts or known faults.

  3. Tell us whether the original case is included. Missing accessories or packaging may affect the final offer.

  5. View your estimated offers. Compare the preliminary cash and store-credit amounts.

Please provide accurate details and photographs. An estimate does not guarantee acceptance or a final purchase price.

How the Trade-In Process Works

Step 1 — Submit Your Details

Complete the online form with the exact model and finish, condition, case information, contact details and requested photographs.

Step 2 — Receive Your Preliminary Estimate

The calculator provides an initial low estimate using the selected variant’s reference retail price and the information you submit.

Step 3 — Collection Arrangements

If the submission appears suitable, we will contact you to confirm the next steps and arrange eligible collection at no charge. Collection will only proceed using an agreed, legally compliant process.

Step 4 — Physical Inspection

Once the item has been received through the agreed process, we inspect its condition, completeness, authenticity and finish. We may need to revise the preliminary estimate if the actual item differs from the submitted details or current reference pricing. This may raise or lower your payout depending on the condition, colour and included accessories with the gun.

Step 5 — Review Your Final Offer

We communicate the final offer for your consideration. You may discuss or negotiate the amount with us; any revised amount must be agreed by both parties.

Step 6 — Choose Whether to Proceed

If you accept the final offer and all required checks are satisfied, we confirm the transaction and arrange the agreed payment or store credit. If you decline, the return process and any applicable return-delivery costs are explained below.

Cash or Store Credit — Which Is Right for You?

Choose Cash

A cash offer is ideal if you would prefer to receive money rather than purchase another product. The amount depends on the selected model, finish, condition, completeness and final inspection.

Choose Store Credit

Store credit is useful if you want to upgrade to another model or buy a different eligible product from SA Provincial Service. Our estimated store-credit offer may be higher than the cash alternative. Click here to browse our store and all available products

Your options are yours to compare. You are not required to accept the preliminary estimate, and no final transaction takes place until the final offer has been communicated and accepted, subject to applicable law.

What Determines Your Final Appraisal?

Brand and Model

Different manufacturers and models have different retail prices, demand and second-hand resale potential.

Colour and Finish

Black, fume, satina, shiny chrome and matte chrome finishes may have different reference prices. The exact finish you submit must match the item presented for inspection. The calculator is based off the default Black colour. Thus if your gun is fume, Shiny Chrome, Matte Chrome etc, Your final evaluation may be higher than the initial amount

Condition

The calculator uses the condition grade you select. The final assessment considers actual wear, visible damage, completeness and any discrepancies between the submission and the item inspected.

Original Case and Accessories

The original case and included accessories can influence the offer.

Current Retail and Resale Market

The calculator uses reference retail pricing for the selected variant as a starting point. Retail prices, availability and second-hand demand can change, so the estimate is not a promise of the amount ultimately offered.

Sell your Blank Gun to us - A More Convenient Alternative to Private Selling

To sell your blank gun privately can involve creating listings, responding to messages, negotiating a price, dealing with cancellations and waiting for a buyer. It can also expose you to impersonation, payment scams, misleading enquiries and the risk of a listing being removed or an account being restricted by a social platform.

With our appraisal process, you can begin directly with SA Provincial Service instead of relying on a public listing. You receive a preliminary estimate, an arranged collection process where available, and a final offer after inspection.

Less time managing a listing. More clarity about your options.

Important Information Before You Submit
