To use the stun gun, move the power switch to the fire position which will enable the red light indicating its readiness. To fire the high voltage prongs, press onto the fire switch located above the light. Note that the stun gun includes a safety pin and the stun gun will only be activated when the safety pin is inserted into the weapon to ensure user safety. If the safety pin is not inserted, it will function as a regular Flashlight only.
The stun gun is Rechargeable with standard 110v/220v ac which an average charge time of 5 hours providing approximately 8-9 hours of regular use or 13-14 hours sparingly. The most effective stun locations are the shoulder, hip, thigh, buttocks and below the rib cage for maximum effectiveness. A shock from the stun gun for just a second will cause pain and minor muscle contractions whereas a stun of 2 seconds + will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state. Stunning an assailant for 3-5 seconds will cause the loss of balance and muscle control.
