What is the difference between 9mm blank and real 9mm ammo?

9mm Live ammunition have a projectile on the cartridge and requires a licence to be purchased while 9mm blank ammo does not have a projectile and can be purchased without a licence

Can they be used for self defence?

Yes, Blank ammunition can be used for self defence. We have stock of both normal rounds and Pepper/Tear Gas cartridges

What’s the difference between Normal, Pepper & Tear Gas?

Normal Blank rounds are used as detterents and are the most cost effective, these produce a sound of a real gun while pepper & tear gas rounds releases a stream of pepper spray/tear gas towards an intended target. 

Peppers or Tear Gas?

Both provide enough reassurance. Peppers contain a dosage of 120mg while Tear Gas contains 220mg making them much more potent however both are far stronger than dumping an entire canister of pepper spray.

How far does Peppers/Tear Gas reach?

True readings will vary from the type of gun used  and the weather conditions around you however an estimated reading on an average blank gun will get you a range of up to 20 meters in distance. 

Can Blank Bullets be used on a real firearm?

Yes, Blank bullets are perfectly 9x22mm which makes them able to be used even on a real firearm. It is also a training principal for saps officials to use blanks as warning shots to deter without causing injury

Do Peppers/ Tear Gas bullets have an expiry date?

No, Peppers and Tear Gas bullets do not have an expiry date and have an indefinite shelf life time. We strongly encourage to store your ammunition in a cool area away from direct sunlight.

Can Blank Ammunition cause injury or harm?

While blank ammunition are designed to not be harmful, improper use of these rounds can cause serious and devastating effects. For instance, firing upon someone at under half a meter distance can cause serious second degree burns requiring immediate medical attention while shooting at point blank can instantly crack a persons skull and burn through flesh causing fatal injury or death.

Can I mix and use both normal and pepper/tear gas bullets?

Yes, you can use both normal and pepper/tear gas rounds simultaneously and is a common practice where a warning shot if your first chambered round followed by a pepper/tear gas if needed in the instance
